Triple R Kennels Boarding
|
|
We're located at the base of Columbia Mountain - A beautiful place for your pet to stay. With 6 ft. chain link fencing, to ensure their safety, the existing 8 runs (about 20x40) and another acre of fenced yard, there is no lack of space for your pet to romp and play.
We take every precaution to keep your pet safe and happy. To keep them happy, compatible dogs do get to play together but to keep them safe, if we suspect any aggessive behavior, their private run and barking though the fence is the highlight of their day.
Even though the little dogs have some of the best play-baby personalities, we do try to group them by size so the little ones don't get trampled during any of the playtime excitement.
****Also for your dogs protection we do REQUIRE PROOF OF CURRENT VACCINATIONS, rabies, distemper/parvo and BORDETTELA (CANINE KENNEL COUGH). For the best protection against Kennel Cough, a vaccination should be given at least 5 days prior to boarding and lasts for about 6 months, time frames may vary between veterinarian clinics, but we have to vaccinate our own valuble canines every 6 months so it only make sence to have our customers work within that same time frame.
Because of rate changes, please contact Triple R Kennels on-line at rrad@bigsky.net or call 406-892-3695 for their current rates. There are no additional charges for the administration of any medications. Our facility has been highly recommended by more than one area veternarian for the boarding of dogs with special needs or theropy excercise. There is an additional charge of $24.00 an hour depending the individual need and situation.

With the completion of 11 additional indoor kennels, we are better suited to accomodate our increasing number of quests. The indoor kennels vary in sizes from 6x5-5x7-6x11. Giving your pet sufficient room to move around, makes us feel better, as well as making your pet more comfortable. This facility is completely heated with natural gas and we like to use our own stainless steel water buckets and bowls. We do encourage you to bring your pets own bedding and toys to help them adjust to their new surroundings, but we do have our own supply of bedding & mats if needed.
For any problem dogs that may come our way, we do have two indoor kennels with outside exits to their own private runs, but (so far) with over 100 "happy"
clients, we have only one who has a kennel named after him.
(Dino you are "special")
We are also able to separate the smaller dogs from the big ones so they are not so intimidated, even though most smaller ones think their 100lbs+ and a bull mastiff is "no problem".

We are committed to the safety and well-being of your pet while in our care and making your pet happy and comfortable in your absence. We encourage your pet to bring along some personal items to help make them feel more at home. We also recommend not changing your pets diet, but our dogs have been known to share their rations if necessary. A warm, clean, and "dogs rule" facility, we know your pet will be excited upon your return, but we strive to insure that your pet will also be happy with a return visit and more play-time at Triple R Kennels.
We had outgrown our original 5 kennels, so in November 2002, over the Thanksgiving holiday, we broke in another 11 kennels being able to accommodate our ever growing number of new customers. To our amazement in December we have already experienced the joy of having a completely full facility and the disappointment of having to turn customers away. So just to be on the safe side be sure and book well in advance for any major holiday get-a-ways.

I WONDER WHO HAS THE BISQUITS??? I think Kali, Ayla, Payton, Bella, Beca, Shelby, Boo, Misty, Milli, Tegan, Poncha, Ginger, and Kiara all have it figured out. Who started feeding bisquits in the yard anyway?
|
Family, kids and pets: Kim, Tami, Garrett, Boo, Misty, & Kiara have fun helping out with some of our guests: Andy, Ziggy, Buddy, Sage, Duke, and Madee. Sit and stay is not in everyones vocabulary, but it's sure nice when you can get a little cooperation. That goes for the kids too. A normal day of activities at Triple R Kennels includes the 3 to 4 times that our guests are exercised. We feel this hands-on time is an extremely important part of making your pet feel more comfortable and not forgotten in your absence. It also gives us a better opportunity to get to know your pet and its individual personality so we are more aware of any physical or mental changes while in our care. To help you in making that tough decision to leave your pet and when, all of us at Triple R Kennels understand and want to work around your busy schedule, therefore, we are open 7 days a week, including holidays. Our hours are 8a.m. to 8p.m.

BELLA, PAYTON, BOO, CHIEF, BECA, PONCHA, MILLI, TEGAN, KALI, KIARA, AND BUDDY. Outside of picture frame was AYLA, VICTORIA, MISTY, GINGER, AND SHELBY.
Labs (yellow, black, choc.), golden retrievers, poodles, huskys, mastiffs, Aust. shepherds, brittanys, and the lovable "take a guess", no matter what size or shape, color or breed they all have run and fun on their minds and can't wait for the next playtime at TRIPLE R KENNELS. The second most important thing on their minds of course, are the bisquits they receive throughout the day for returning to their kennels like ladies and gentlemen. Did you hear that Payton? Like a gentleman!!!
